Community Endorsements

We’re at a moment in time where we need our local government to take responsibility for our most persistent challenges to create a community where people are safe, stable and thriving. We need leaders like Kim who can look at all sides of an issue and create a plan that puts collective widsom into action.
I know from our years working together that Kim leads with a combination of head and heart; her leadership is strong, effective and comes from a place of curiosity. She is a great fit for mayor.

Meredith Hayes

Advocate for well-being of children

Kim Lund is a both a pragmatic and bold thinker who has a proven track record at organizations large and small. I am most impressed with her thoughtful work on the Planning Commission and her persistent, compassionate work at the Bellingham Public Schools Foundation. Whether it’s working 1:1 with individuals or leading organizations, Kim’s leadership at the city level is needed more than ever as we confront some of our biggest issues: community safety, downtown vibrancy, climate change and the housing affordability crisis.

Anne-Marie Faiola

Bramble Berry Handcraft Provisions

I’ve grown up with Kim since preschool and our families are close to this day. As a fiscally conservative republican, I haven’t always seen eye to eye with Kim on policy or voted the same way at the ballot box – but we always engage in respectful dialogue and she listens to my point of view.
Kim’s intellect, character and approach to solving problems is outstanding and I would be proud to have her leadership in City Hall as we tackle our current problems – and move Bellingham forward!

Ryan Allsop

AllsopTech

I love that Kim will bring her passion for protecting our Salish Sea home to the Bellingham Mayor’s office.

Julie Trimingham

Author, Filmmaker

I have known Kim since 2006 and as a Bellingham business owner, mother and concerned citizen, she has my vote. Kim is a well balanced person who understands the wide range of needs of our community and will address these challenging times with compassion, integrity and enthusiasm.

Amy Robinson

3Oms Yoga

Kim is a consummate professional. She thoughtfully listens to all sides, rigorously evaluates the alternatives, and develops a well-reasoned plan of action. Every interaction I’ve had with Kim has been positive. She is a wonderful and inclusive leader.

Steve Smith
